Mr Doodle (Sam Cox) is one of the world's most successful contemporary artists. He is known across the globe for his distinctive doodling styles, which he describes as Graffiti Spaghetti.

Sam Cox, best known as ‪Mr Doodle, has turned his passion into a lifestyle. As one of the world’s most successful contemporary artists with almost 3million followers on Instagram, his unique artistic vision has captivated audiences of all ages, transporting them into a world of intricate patterns.

Inspired by childhood cartoons and video games, his love for drawing began at the age of 3 when he would replicate the colourful images that jumped out at him through the TV screen. At 15 he cemented his craft and became a self-proclaimed ‘obsessive compulsive doodler’.

Mixing characters with objects and patterns he describes his work as Graffiti Spaghetti – a series of interlocking patterns, and surreal narratives that often chronicle the adventures of Mr Doodle in “Doodle Land.” Mr Doodle collaborated with Pearl Lam Galleries in Hong Kong for his successful solo exhibition, Mr Doodle in Space. He invites viewers of his art to join Mr and Mrs Doodle as they battle Dr Scribble in an epic showdown to restore peace to Doodle Land.

Beyond his exhibitions, Mr Doodle continues to push artistic boundaries through innovative collaborations and community engagements. His infectious enthusiasm for doodling transcends traditional art forms, fostering a global community of doodle enthusiasts and inspiring budding artists to embrace creativity without boundaries.

As a cultural phenomenon, Mr Doodle’s impact extends far beyond gallery walls, influencing contemporary art with his dynamic fusion of graffiti art and playful storytelling. His ability to transform mundane spaces into vibrant canvases and his dedication to spreading joy through art reaffirm his status as a pioneer in modern artistic expression. With each new doodle, Mr Doodle continues to captivate and inspire, leaving an indelible mark on the art world and beyond.

In Mr Doodle in Space episode of The Pearl Lam Podcast, Sam and Pearl Lam discuss his way from a small rural town in England to reaching global recognition and his ultimate dream of doodling the entire world.
