Maaike Doyer is the founder of Epic Engels, the largest female-only angel investor network in the Asia Pacific region. Rejecting traditional feminist labels, she views women as change-makers rather than victims in need of special treatment. With a rich multicultural background and experiences spanning the US, Singapore and the Netherlands, Maaike is dedicated to using her expertise to make change across the globe.

Maaike Doyer is a trailblazer in entrepreneurship, education, and investment with a unique passion for numbers. Starting her career in Mergers & Acquisitions, she swiftly rose to become the global CFO of a leading design firm, spearheading its successful expansion from Europe to the U.S. 

Building on her experience as an early angel investor in Silicon Valley, when Maaike moved to Singapore in 2020, she noticed a gap in angel investing. She took the initiative and founded Epic Angels to democratize this field. Today, Epic Angels is the largest female-only angel network in the APAC region, making a significant impact on the investment scene.
