Kim Robinson

Kim Robinson has been a renowned celebrity hairstylist for over 50 years and has had his hands on the hair of some of the world’s most incredible women including Kate Moss, Anita Mui, and the late Princess Diana.

Kim Robinson began his extraordinary journey on the farmlands of Western Australia and now lives and works in the dazzling lights of Hong Kong. He moved to Hong Kong in 1976, after graduating from technical school in Perth, Australia. After brief stints in London at the Vidal Sassoon, and in Paris, as the assistant of Alexandre de Paris, Kim Robinson returned to Hong Kong with a new joie de vivre. 

Kim Robinson is known for his outstanding service and impeccable styling. Clients would often turn up at his salon to get their hair styled, wearing ballgowns, on their way to attend illustrious events. Having revolutionised the perception of hairdressing in Hong Kong and Asia, Kim Robinson has now become an icon in his own right. He is currently one of the world’s most sought-after and expensive hair stylists. 

Kim Robinson recently made a significant decision to close the doors of his legendary salon in Hong Kong, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career. Despite bidding farewell to the world of hairdressing, Robinson remains committed to his passion for enhancing beauty and unveils his plans to transition from a pair of scissors to a paintbrush. 

Looking forward, Kim envisions exploring his artistic talents beyond hairstyling, aiming to channel his creativity into visual arts.
