Leonardo Drew is a contemporary artist based in Brooklyn, New York, whose works play upon a tension between order and chaos. Drew creates sculptures from natural materials such as wood, scrap metal and cotton, and transforms them into artworks that evoke the cyclical nature of existence while critiquing social injustices. Often, he calls upon the viewer to interpret his art – and thus complete it.
